How tight should the pasture fly fringe be?
We recommend tightening the throatlash to where you can slip a finger all the way around when your horse has its head raised. When your horse lowers its head to eat, the circumference around the throatlash will be reduced by about a third compared to when the horse's head is raised.
If the throatlash is looser than what we recommend, the product may twist or even come off.
Instructions for use:
As with all our anti-fly products, if your horse is wearing this fly mask for an extended period, we recommend checking that it is correctly positioned each day and removing it each evening.
The elasticated throatlash lets you easily slip it on and off without having to adjust the fastenings.
