Design details

How do the Vertika trousers allow for greater freedom of movement?

Our team used all of their expertise in components and design to ensure excellent freedom of movement when climbing.
1-Thanks to the inclusion of stretch fibres, the material adapts easily to your movements.
2-We added a gusseted crotch: this cleverly placed piece of fabric allows for movement where stitching can inhibit it.
3 - The preformed knees provide volume for better freedom of movement.

What are its key features?

1- A wide, ultra-flat belt in made of a stretchy, supple material.
2- An elasticated lower-leg finish for easy visibility of your shoes when climbing.
3- 2 hand pockets and 1 thigh pocket for your phone.
4- A ribbon to store your brush.

How has dyeing evolved over time?

The dyes used for materials, such as cotton, hemp or linen, tend to fade over time. The product then becomes a burnished colour.
This is normal ageing of the product.

What material are these trousers made of?

Hard-wearing cotton: 190 g/m² (98%)
Elastane (2%)
We opted for cotton to optimise the product’s lifespan and make it more resistant to abrasion on rocks.

DRYING IN TUMBLE DRYER POSSIBLE. LOW TEMPERATURE, MAXIMUM DRUM EXHAUST TEMPERATURE 60°C.

IRONING AT A MAXIMUM SOLEPLATE TEMPERATURE OF 110°C. STEAM TREATMENT MAY CAUSE IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE.

MAXIMUM WASHING TEMPERATURE 30°C. NORMAL TREATMENT.

Several tests are carried out during the design of this product: - Functional tests indoors by climbers from the Chamonix CAF (French Alpine Club), in particular of the resistance after several washes. - Tests carried out by our technical partners in the SIMOND team.
