Components and compatibility of the electronic airbag vest
The airbag vest is made up of several components:an airbag pocket, a gas generator (called an ‘inflator’) and the ‘In&box’ (not supplied by DECATHLON).
This vest is only compatible with certified inflators (cartridges) co-created with In&motion.:
The only cartridge/inflator that can be used is:REF In&motion INFLATOR IMI 7112 (DECATHLON model code 8955760)
How does the electronic airbag work?
This airbag system is autonomous:it operates without a remote sensor.The In&box, an electronic box located at the heart of the vest, is the brain of the system.It contains six sensors (three accelerometers and three gyroscopes) that analyse the user's position 1,000 times per second.This data is processed by predictive algorithms designed to anticipate the impact of a fall (whether you fall alone or in a collision) and trigger the airbag.Inflation time = 30ms

Wearing the vest:Compatibility and Layering
This airbag vest can be worn under a jacket or coat, but only under certain compatibility conditions.Please refer to section ‘3.3 COMPATIBILITY’ in the instructions to check that your clothing is suitable.
Layering equipment:
- It can be worn over a jumper or thin jacket.
- A rucksack (limited to a maximum of 8 kg) can be worn over the vest.
Airbag Vest Activation:In&box

CHOOSING YOUR SIZE
Choosing the right size is crucial for your safety.Please refer to the size chart (available below in the product images).You need to take two measurements:your chest circumference and your back length.
Advice if you are unsure:if your measurements indicate two different sizes (e.g.S-M for chest, L-XL for back), we recommend that you always choose the larger size (in this case, size L-XL).
