This helmet is equipped with a double-patented innovation: Visor +. mask or visor: the choice is yours!
The special thing about this helmet is that it’s compatible with your mask, as well as with a visor, so it integrates perfectly. To do this, there are three visors you can buy:
- Visor for bad weather (S1): Pink lens, ref. 8965949
- Visor for good weather (S3): Brown lens, ref. 8960724
- Visor for good weather (S3), High Definition: Volcano lens, ref. 8960727
The visors are compliant with Standard ISO 18527- 1, and are very easily interchangeable, tool-free.
The Visor+ system can be repaired.
If broken, our Visor+ system can be repaired. It is sold separately so you can refit it at home. If you have any questions, please visit your nearest store.
ABS shell.
The ABS shell is injection moulded to withstand powerful impacts. The inner EPS foam liner absorbs impact in the event of a collision. We recommend changing your snowboard helmet at least every 5 years if it hasn’t suffered a significant shock in the meantime.
How to choose the right size and trying on your helmet
Measure the circumference of your head in centimetres (from the middle of your forehead to the top of your ears) and choose the right size.
This helmet is available in three sizes:
S/52-55cm - M/55-59cm - L/59-62cm
When trying on the helmet, you should not feel any discomfort. Also, try it on with the mask. There should be no gaps between the two.
Adjust your helmet once you have the right size.
Your ski helmet must be properly adjusted and fitted.
- The head circumference must be adjusted using the tightening dial.
- The chinstrap must be properly adjusted. You should be able to fit two fingers between the strap and your skin. If it is not adjusted properly, the helmet will not protect you as it should.
When to change your ski helmet?
We recommend changing your ski helmet every 5 years, unless it has sustained a significant impact in the meantime. In case of severe impact, you need to change the helmet: even if you can’t see it, the inner material may be damaged and your helmet will offer less protection.
A helmet keeps you warm: you don't need to wear a hat underneath – in fact, it’s best not to.
Avoid wearing a hat, as this will create a gap between your head and your helmet and reduce your protection. If necessary, opt for a very thin balaclava designed for this purpose.
Avoid putting a camera on the helmet, as this will compromise your safety. The standard does not take into account any elements added to the helmet.
This helmet complies with European standard EN 1077:2007, applicable to helmets used for alpine skiing and snowboarding
It is characterised by its shock absorption capacity and penetration resistance. There are two categories of protection:
- Class A: the top and back of the head, as well as the ears and sides of the head.
- Class B: the top and back of the head, but not the ears.
