WATERPROOFING WATER COLUMN TEST (known as the Schmerber test)
The strength of a fabric is measured in water pressure, expressed in mm water column (test based on the JIS 1092B standard). The greater the pressure, the more the fabric is waterproof.
With a waterproofing index of 25,000 mm Schmerber, our dungarees are highly waterproof.
Fabrics with a waterproofing index of 25,000 mm Schmerber withstand a pressure of 2.5 bar.
WATERPROOFING SHOWER TEST
In our eyes, this test reflects real-life conditions the best because products made of a highly waterproof fabric can let water leak in through the seams, flaps or zips.
Our dungarees protect you against storms, in other words, 1.8 metres of water in 4 hours.
