THE EDR RANGE FOR ENDURANCE
The EDR range of helmets is designed for endurance. Its ergonomic design and adjustment system guarantee absolute comfort over long distances.
The intelligent ventilation system ensures a constant flow of air, keeping you cool and dry.EDR means performance and safety without compromise, mile after mile.
MIPS AIR NODE:SAFE, LIGHTWEIGHT AND VENTILATED
The Mips® Air Node system has been designed to protect against rotational impacts. In the event of an impact, particularly an oblique one, your head may undergo a sudden and violent rotation, a common cause of concussions.
The Mips® Air Node is an integrated, discreet solution that allows for slight movement of the helmet relative to your head.It remains fixed during normal use and only activates in the event of an impact, dissipating rotational energy to reduce the risk of injury.
WHY MIPS AIR NODE
Air Node is the most advanced protection solution from Mips®
Its advantages:
Lightweight and well-ventilated:perforated and designed not to impede airflow.
Comfort no pressure points.
Smart protection: only activates upon impact to deflect rotational forces.
Sizes & Weight
EDR
size M: 55-59 cm 290 g
Size L: 59-62 cm 350 g
Please note that this helmet features the MIPS system. This system slightly modifies the size grid, so if you are at the upper end of the size range, we recommend choosing one size up.
DUAL VENTILATION SYSTEM
Dual cooling system
Our helmet features a dual ventilation system. At high speeds, air enters through the large front openings and circulates through deep ducts, creating a constant cooling effect. At low speeds or when climbing, openings on the top act by convection:warm air escapes naturally, while cool air is drawn in through the front vents.
RETURN CONDITIONS (SPECIFIC TO PPE)
This helmet is personal protective equipment (PPE), so its protection will depend on the condition of your helmet.
We can only accept helmets returned in new condition. If your helmet doesn't suit you, please return it with the user guide and tags.
HOW LONG HELMETS LAST
Helmets don't last forever. To ensure maximum safety, we recommend replacing your helmet at least every 5 to 7 years. It is important to store it in its case, in a dry, cool place away from sunlight.
Extreme temperatures will deteriorate the helmet's foam more quickly.
If your helmet suffers a large impact, it's essential that you change it as there could be internal cracks that would prevent it from working properly.
SAFETY
Because choosing a helmet is above all for safety reasons, this helmet meets all the most demanding impact standards.
It complies with the European regulation EN1078.
This standard covers the following aspects: construction, including field of vision, shock absorption properties, retention system features including the chinstrap and tightening devices, and marking and information.
GLASSES
This helmet is compatible with the Van Rysel range of glasses. You can store your glasses in your helmet while riding if you need more air around your face, but we strongly advise against leaving your glasses in the helmet for long periods when you are not riding. The glasses may become distorted.
