    How do you protect your tent’s durability?

    Your tent is designed for itinerant bivouacking, it is therefore not designed for static use in the sun.
    We recommend that you avoid leaving it in the sun as the ultra-light fabrics can be sensitive to UV light, that damages them.

    How is the waterproofing capacity of the MT900 3P tunnel tent validated?

    Waterproofing capacity is validated in the laboratory. We also placed the whole tent under a shower, which discharged 200 litres of water per m² and per hour, for three hours - which is the equivalent of a tropical rainstorm.

    How do you prevent the risk of condensation inside your MT900 3-person tunnel tent?

    This tent has an air vent in the bedroom and an air vent in the canopy.
    It can be opened or closed as desired from the inside.
    The inner door is lined so it can be used either with the mesh part alone (when it gets hot) or with a full fabric for protection when it’s cold.
    It’s therefore important to let as much air circulate as possible to prevent the build-up of condensation inside.

    ​Ground sheet for the MT900 tunnel tent

    A ground sheet sold separately (reference: 8975342) has been designed to add an additional layer of protection to this MT900 tunnel tent. This feature helps to limit abrasion and increase the waterproofing capacity of the inner tent’s ground sheet, also allowing the tent to be pitched in tarp mode without the inner tent.

    What are the additional features of this tent?

    Inside, a clothesline and three hooks allow you to dry your clothes and hang a headlamp.
    Two pockets on each side and a 6-pocket storage space at the back of the tent make it easy for you to store away small belongings.
    Finally, the awning is fitted with a second clothesline.

    Storage tips

    Clean the tent after use and ensure that it’s completely dry before storing it. This will prevent mould and bad odours from forming.

    This MT900 3P tunnel tent has been validated in the laboratory and in real conditions out in the field. It was used for 5 weeks during the spring of 2025, by 2 teams of testers, that do not belong to Simond, who trekked and bivouacked in the French Alps.
