    Design details

    What is GBS assembly?

    For maximum warmth underwater, this pair of gloves uses the GBS (Glued and Blind Stitched) assembly, a process that makes the seams watertight. The neoprene is first glued to join the panels together and create an initial barrier against the water. A seam is then added to reinforce the strength of the assembly. The trick? The needle never penetrates the entire thickness of the neoprene. This technique prevents water from seeping through the seams.

    This product has been designed and rigorously tested in partnership with Planet Ocean, a 5-star PADI dive centre located in the Decathlon Water Sports Lab in Hendaye, France. The centre’s experienced instructors, who use our products all year round, are integrated into the development process. They carry out long-term wear tests and evaluate products, from their initial design and throughout their life, with the help of divers of all levels.
