    What are the properties of hemp?

    Hemp is a natural fibre renowned for its strength, durability and comfort.
    It requires little water and little fertiliser to grow.
    Of course, the main advantages of hemp are that it is both strong and lightweight, that it absorbs moisture and therefore perspiration in hot weather, and that it is antibacterial.

    Why combine cotton with hemp?

    Used on its own, hemp would not be very comfortable or supple. To give you an idea, it would feel more like a hessian sack.
    The trick of combining cotton fibres with hemp fibres gives you the benefits of both components to create a shirt that’s hard-wearing, comfortable and lightweight.

Thicker than cotton, it is a strong, breathable, and comfortable material that absorbs moisture and offers a natural feel. Its cultivation requires very little water and no irrigation, making it a naturally resource-efficient plant. The result: 56% less CO2 emissions compared to conventional cotton.
