    Why is this judogi tough?

    The grammage of a fabric is its thickness expressed in grams per square metre. For judo, it's best to wear a uniform with a hard-wearing fabric, so that it stays in place during training and after being washed.
    We chose a fabric made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton with a weight of 350 g/m². It's the ideal material to withstand gripping, pulling and washing. It's the perfect way to increase your training and make progress!

    Why will a lapel collar help you get started with judo?

    Judo is a grappling sport. When fighting, you grab your opponent's uniform and throw them to the ground. To make it easier for you to learn, we've designed a collar with a wider lapel to help you put your hand on it more easily.
    The front of the collar is curved to help you look your best when you put your judogi back on. This way, your jacket follows the shape of your body and falls back into the closed position naturally.

    What's so elegant about its design?

    This judo outfit is practical and elegant. With a nice sleeve length and a ample shoulder room, this fitted jacket will follow your body and move freely.
    As for the bottoms, they are more resistant at the knees to adapt to floor combat. The elasticated waistband helps you put it on quickly and easily.

    Choosing the size of your uniform

    Choosing the right size uniform depends on your height. Uniforms range from 160 to 200 cm. We recommend choosing a uniform which is at least 5 cm bigger than your height. For example, if you're 1.74 m tall, choose a 180 cm uniform.
