Stationary swimming is ideal for gaining an awareness of your body and concentrating on your swimming technique.
Work on breathing on both sides, focusing on turning your head to breathe.
Improve your kicking by concentrating on your hip and leg movements when swimming in a stationary position.
The multifunctional stationary swimming tether can also be used for running in the water or for rehabilitation exercises.
What’s the point of a stationary swimming tether?
This stationary swimming tether lets you make the most of your garden pools and train even if you don’t have a communal pool nearby. It makes swimming accessible, whatever the size of your pool.
A stationary swimming session is just as effective as conventional pool training, working technique, strength and endurance all at once. The bonus? You don’t have to count the laps!
What is this stationary swimming tether made of?
This material is made up of 2 layers:
- a fixed portion: adjustable tether and attachment to a fixed support (such as a pool ladder);
- an interchangeable part that you can accessorise with a belt or ankle loops.
The tether has an adjustable range of 1Â metre, meaning a total length ranging from 2 to 3Â metres. It must systematically be attached to the edge of the pool using the hook. Remember to check that the fastener is properly closed before swimming.
