    Does this fleece jacket keep you warm?

    Inspired by animal fur and plumage, the brushed interior of this fleece retains heat by trapping air. With its elasticated cuffs, it prevents the entry of cold air and guarantees sustained warmth during your outdoor adventures.

    Why is fleece so warm?

    Fleece fabric with synthetic fibres to reproduce the performance of wool: warmth, thermal insulation yet still lightweight. It is soft, comfortable, dries quickly and lets the skin to breathe.

    To guarantee their quality, our products undergo rigorous tests. We check their resistance to pilling, discolouration and repeated washing. The resistance to wear is measured using the Martindale test that subjects a sample of fabric to repeated friction.

    Dress properly for hiking on snow

    To face winter, follow the 3-layer principle:
    1) Technical and breathable base layer.
    2) Sweater or fleece for warmth and moisture transfer.
    3) Jacket for protection against bad weather.
    Make sure it is all breathable to evacuate humidity.

    We carry out 2 types of thermal testing: - on the material; - on a thermal dummy in a thermal chamber. These tests reproduce the conditions found in the mountains and are used to validate our design choices and adjust the positioning of the thermal insulation where you need it most.

    During the development phase for this fleece jacket, our teams used testers who tried out the jacket while hiking. The feedback that they received from the testers helped them to make the final touches to the product.
