Adventure for good #1
Adventure for good is a quest to find solutions that will transform the way we design and manufacture our outdoor products.
In this first chapter, we're looking for alternatives to fabrics derived from the petrochemical industry and are taking a creative route from the flax field to the technical bag.

Rethinking the raw material
Raw materials are the key issue, as they account for more than half of the product. We therefore sought alternatives to synthetic fabrics and chose linen. It is a natural material with exceptional technical properties.
Made locally
Flax grows between Normandy and the Netherlands. It's a resilient crop, requires little water, is adapted to climate change and regenerates the soil. The entire production chain for this bag is European. As experts in textiles, all stakeholders have come together to develop technical applications for flax.We visited each supplier by train or bicycle:
Cultivation and scutching: France
Yarn: Poland
Weaving: France
Made in: Czech Republic
