Each Wellmix Plus recipe contains a specific ingredient renowned for its nutritive and attractive properties. The powdered milk (Strawbanana/Scopex) enhances dissolving and rapidly releases the flavours. The roasted hemp seeds and tigernut meal stimulate the carp’s appetite. The Spicy Tuna contains tuna meal and soluble fish concentrate, rich in protein and amino acids. The Monstercrab applies the same logic with its recipe containing crayfish meal.
Which boilie should I choose?
Wellmix boilies adapt to every fishing situation.
Wellmix Instant is fast-dissolving and perfect for ground baiting or fast fishing, thanks to its simple, light recipe containing less than 10% protein, so the carp are not overfed.
The more nutritious Wellmix Plus (up to 20% protein) is longer-lasting, ideal for a full night’s fishing or durable hook baiting.
Hookbait or priming: both are possible
Enriched with powdered egg to boost their nutritional value and lengthen the time taken to break down, Wellmix Plus boilies are suitable for both ground and hook baiting for a whole night.
Their protein-rich composition (15 to 20%) and noble ingredients, such as powdered milk, hemp seed, tuna or crayfish meal, guarantee lasting attraction. Available in three diameters (15, 20 and 25 mm), they can be adapted to suit all populations and fishing scenarios.
How to bait a cobra?
For optimal casting, moisten the cobra and the boilies before use, especially if you are using a carbon cobra.
This simple step prevents the beads from breaking and guarantees a smooth, precise projection for long-distance ground baiting.
How are our dissolution tests carried out?
Each Wellmix boilie undergoes rigorous dissolution tests in real-life conditions and in the laboratory.
These tests reproduce the variations in water temperature (winter and summer) to guarantee constant behaviour and controlled diffusion of the aromas on the fishing spot.
Instructions
If there are any unwanted visitors (crayfish, white fish, etc.), protect your bait with heat-shrink tubing.
The dissolution times indicated are measured without any interaction with these species and may vary according to the conditions.
The composition of your boilies is changing
We adapt the recipe of our boilies to limit their impact on aquatic environments. Our boilies use 100% natural colourings (from paprika, turmeric, beetroot, etc.). For the smell, we use synthetic aromas that we carefully select so that their concentration in the water remains below the threshold of impact on aquatic life, based on PNEC* (Predicted No-Effect Concentration) )toxicological data.
