High abrasion resistance
The weave of this polo is abrasion-resistant, for better resistance to abrasion when manoeuvring your boat or dockside. Stay focused on what you’re doing, without worrying about ruining your sailing polo.
Comfort first
This sailing polo shirt is seamless on the body, which reduces irritation caused by rubbing against the skin.
This polo shirt is meant to be loose like a classic long-sleeve t-shirt. It won’t stick to your skin when wet, and its cut offers greater ease of movement and optimum comfort for all types of manoeuvres on a boat.
Quick drying
Some of the yarns used to weave the shirt are made of polypropylene. This material is hydrophobic and does not retain water.
We measured the drying time of the t-shirt in the laboratory after 10 washes: the t-shirt takes less than 6 hours to air dry, but this can be much shorter when sailing because of the flow of air.
Odour control
The use of polypropylene and polyamide yarns limits the development of unpleasant odours generated by perspiration.
Our fabrics have been tested for odour control by the ISO 17299-3 laboratory.
Resistance tests
We carried out several laboratory tests to finally obtain a tight, fine weave that resists rubbing and snags. This polo shirt is durable and much less delicate than many other fabrics we have tested, using the same yarn.
To ensure a long lifespan, we recommend that you avoid rubbing against the rip-tab (hard part): it damages the fabric.
