    What is its waterproofing ability?

    This jacket has been designed to withstand rain. It has successfully passed the shower test (3 stars), and its 2-layer laminate construction gives it a waterproof rating of 15,000 mm H2O (Schmerber), enough to keep you dry.

    How to maintain its performance?

    To keep your jacket water-repellent, we recommend reactivating it every 3 washes or after about 10 uses. To do this, tumble dry it for 15 minutes (synthetic cycle) or use a hair dryer.

    To what extent is this jacket breathable?

    The JIS L 1099 B1 test measures the water vapour that passes through the fabric in 24h, in grams per sqm. The higher this value is, the more breathable the fabric. A breathable fabric with a water vapour permeability of 10,000 g/m²/24 hrs is ideal for walking in the countryside.

    What are their practical features?

    Designed to combine comfort and functionality, this jacket is ultra-practical with its 4 pockets: 2 zipped hand pockets and 1 zipped chest pocket, plus 1 key pocket with a carabiner. It fits perfectly thanks to its 3 adjustment points: at the waist for a fitted or straight outline, at the hood, and with its adjustable cuffs.

    Our Quechua global design centre is based in Passy, at the foot of Mont-Blanc in Haute-Savoie. This location makes it a real meeting place for our teams (designers, product managers, engineers, etc.) and outdoor sports enthusiasts, to test our products on natural terrain. Our range of jackets also undergoes a shower test, carried out in our climatic chamber in our Decathlon Sportslab laboratory near Lille.
