It is based on solid economic, social and environmental warranties that belay better living conditions for cotton producers while respecting the environment.

    What guarantees does the Fairtrade label provide?

    - A guaranteed minimum price: cotton producers benefit from a guaranteed minimum price that protects them in the event of a fall in market prices.
    - Full traceability: the Fairtrade/Max Havelaar label ensures that the cotton is physically traceable all along the supply chain, from plantation to the finished product.
    - A development bonus: producer organisations receive an additional sum of money to finance collective projects.
