The Manta Mips® is a helmet that defines MET's aesthetic and its highly contemporary design. It's just as striking as the original, but with a sharper look, it stands out as a trendsetter. The MET Manta Mips® is more aerodynamic than its predecessor thanks to a lowered, tube-shaped tail, specifically developed in a wind tunnel at the NEWTON laboratory in Milan.Using the MIPS-C2® rational impact management system, the MET Manta Mips® is capable of sliding relative to the head in the event of an impact, redirecting harmful rotational forces. MIPS® is a brain protection system designed to add protection to the classic helmet construction against certain types of impacts. The MIPS Brain Protection System (BPS) is attached inside the helmet, between the comfort padding and the EPS.The Fidlock® magnetic buckle makes it easier and faster to fasten the helmet, effectively reducing transition times in triathlons.While primarily an aerodynamic helmet, the MET Manta Mips® is nonetheless well-ventilated. MET has designed internal channels to channel airflow. MET's signature NACA ventilation works in synergy with specially positioned vents to ensure a constant airflow within the helmet without creating turbulence or drag.It features two ports for storing sunglasses.In addition to its performance, the MET Manta Mips® is also exceptionally comfortable.
