MET Manta Mips Road Helmet Brillant Grey

Product Description

The Manta Mips® is a helmet that defines MET's aesthetic and its highly contemporary design. It's just as striking as the original, but with a sharper look, it stands out as a trendsetter. The MET Manta Mips® is more aerodynamic than its predecessor thanks to a lowered, tube-shaped tail, specifically developed in a wind tunnel at the NEWTON laboratory in Milan.Using the MIPS-C2® rational impact management system, the MET Manta Mips® is capable of sliding relative to the head in the event of an impact, redirecting harmful rotational forces. MIPS® is a brain protection system designed to add protection to the classic helmet construction against certain types of impacts. The MIPS Brain Protection System (BPS) is attached inside the helmet, between the comfort padding and the EPS.The Fidlock® magnetic buckle makes it easier and faster to fasten the helmet, effectively reducing transition times in triathlons. While primarily an aerodynamic helmet, the MET Manta Mips® is nonetheless well-ventilated. MET has designed internal channels to channel airflow. MET's signature NACA ventilation works in synergy with specially positioned vents to ensure a constant airflow within the helmet without creating turbulence or drag.It features two ports for storing sunglasses. In addition to its performance, the MET Manta Mips® is also exceptionally comfortable. The 360° headband ensures there are no pressure points on the skull, and its internal shape is inspired by the renowned MET Trenta 3K Carbon.Details:In-mold polycarbonate shell with EPS linerMIPS C2® rotational force management system designed to provide additional protection in the event of certain impactsExceptionally comfortable and stable on the head thanks to a refined internal shapeMET Safe-T Orbital retention system360° head strap with vertical and occipital adjustment for an optimal fitAir Lite straps with adjustable dividers to maximize aerodynamics and comfortFidlock® magnetic buckle for easy helmet closureHand-washable foam pads15 vents and internal channels designed to improve ventilation and comfortReflective rear decals to increase visibility in low-light conditionsPockets for storing sunglasses during climbs or breaksTube-shaped tail to improve aerodynamicsRear deflector to ensure a constant airflow over the bikeSoft helmet bag includedWeight: 240 g (Size S)
