The Ivanhoe women's wool cardigan, Beata Parakeet, is a wonderfully soft cardigan that can be worn as both a mid-layer and a casual outer layer. The cardigan is made of 100% boiled wool from European sheep, weighing 450 grams per square meter. The cardigan has been upgraded from previous years, with the removal of the Lycra tape around the armholes. Wool is a living material that adapts to your body temperature. In warm temperatures, moisture and body heat are absorbed by the wool and transported away from the body. In colder temperatures, warmth is retained by the millions of microscopic air pockets naturally found in wool. Even when wet (it absorbs 30% of its weight in moisture), wool keeps you warm.
