Wool is a living material that adapts to your body temperature. In warm conditions, it absorbs moisture and body heat and wicks it away from the body. In colder conditions, it retains heat thanks to the millions of microscopic air pockets found in wool. Even when wet (absorbing up to 30% of its weight in moisture), wool keeps you warm.
