The Dugast Small Bird tire is designed for cyclocross racing in mixed conditions, particularly when the top layer of the terrain is slippery. Its tread pattern combines outer knobs that are twice as tall as the central ones with a soft rubber compound, providing excellent grip in corners. The lower central knobs, meanwhile, help reduce rolling resistance. The Small Bird thus strikes a balance between the Rhino and the Typhoon.The version with a Cotton + Kevlar + Neoprene casing features Flying Doctor technology. Composed of 87.5% cotton and 12.5% Kevlar, this casing is lighter than the 100% cotton version and offers better sidewall resistance against sharp edges. It also maintains good stability in turns, even at low pressure.The Regular compound is paired with a neoprene coating that protects the casing from moisture and mud. The 0.1 mm-thick silica coating helps extend the tubular's lifespan without compromising its comfort or performance.The Ribbon L base tape is designed for rims with an inner width of less than 27 mm.
