    What is the triple standard?

    This helmet complies with the CE EN 1077 Class B standard that guarantees head protection for downhill skiing and snowboarding. It guarantees side impact absorption and resistance to penetration.
    It also complies with CE EN 12492 for mountaineering and climbing and guarantees protection of the skull against vertical impacts.
    Finally, it complies with standard EN 1078:2012+A1 which applies to cycling.

    What is the size of the cross-country skiing helmet?

    - Size M: head size from 55 to 59 cm
    - Size L: head size from 59 to 62 cm

    What is the removable cap for?

    The cap is designed to provide extra warmth during your outings.
    If you get hot on the ascent, it can be easily removed.
    When descending, it can quickly be put back into place using the rip-tabs.

    How to adjust the head size of the Wilder cross-country skiing helmet

    The head size adjusts using the Turnring wheel, which guarantees comfort during use and safety.
    This system can easily and precisely be adjusted at any time using the easily accessible dial that you can even use with your skiing gloves.
    Turn the clip to the right to tighten and to the left to release.

    What is In-Mold construction?

    Thanks to the In-Mold construction, the helmet is lightweight as the technique forms an external shell that is directly moulded on the internal EPS shell.
    This polycarbonate outer shell absorbs shocks during impact.
    A intermediate layer (in yellow) protects you from any risk of perforation (branches, pebbles, etc.).

    Is this helmet compatible with other accessories?

    Two plastic hooks on each side of the helmet allow you to slide the elastic of a headlamp into it.
    The shape of the helmet has also been designed to perfectly fit Simond cross-country ski goggles.

    What is the RECCO® system?

    With RECCO® technology, you can be located in the event of an avalanche.
    Thanks to the RECCO® reflectors, a buried person can quickly and easily be located with the RECCO® detector.
    RECCO® reflectors are not a substitute for an AVD. The RECCO® technology works as a complementary measure, increasing the chances of being found in time.

    What is the lifespan of the helmet?

    We recommend changing your cross-country skiing helmet at least every five years.
    In case of considerable impact, change your helmet immediately.
